I was able to reproduce it, this is related to the fixes of the blueprint center specification. It created these kind of possible problems on existing blueprints, but new blueprint should work just fine.

My problem is: When placing a blueprint over a tile that occupied by an entity the action is halted. Is there a trick to delete / keep the occupied tile(s) and still place the blueprint?

I was trying to upload a short gif but I couldn't. I have the same problem with my train blueprints. The blueprint is from the one in horizontal, when doing the placement in vertical it shifts the electric poles. Similar problem with the signals on my other train blueprints.
The blueprint itself and the blueprint item are new 0.12.31

thanks.
I assume i dont need to answer your question from before anymore
any hint on 12.32 since this is killing my 12.31 upgrade and i need to stay on 12.30, even with the multiplayer issues fixed in 12.31... its not worth it

I'm assuming this is related, so just in case you need more info, here is my save with the blueprint problem. Completely vanilla 12.31.
To the right is the design as I made, to the left it's rotated 180 degrees.

Can't get 0.12.32 through Steam, only 0.12.31 here.
Update: now I got it, thanks!
