[16.8] Logistics network not detected by passive provider

The passive provider chests show that they are not in a logistics network, however: they are. The symbol disappears after I have requested something from the chest.

Edit: sometimes the symbol disappears after a request.

PS rebooting the game does not help.

also the bots try to gather stuff and pile up (circled)

It would be great to have 0.16.7 version of the map, or any map as small as possible that can reproduce it.

Only requester chests in this specific logistic network seem to suffer from the problem.

I have attached the map version from version 16.7-4. Unfortunately not all chests were built there yet and the map does not reproduce the bug when opened in 16.9.

I'm having this issue as well, and if I try to pick them up or replace them with a storage chest then try to replace that storage chest with a provider chest it crashes.

Also having this problem sometimes attempts to replace chests results in a crash.

I made a fix.
Is it possible, that all of you that got the problem specified inventory size limit for the provider chest in the meantime? (After loading 0.16.8 ?)
Because I fixed a bug that this action could corrupt potentially random amount of providers in that network.

It is "probably" fixed for 0.16.10

edit: Nvm I see there is a separate report for the issue I've experienced and you've already fixed it.

Can confirm that there is an issue with setting limits on passive provider chests. I noticed one particular issue with 16.9:

1. Load save in 16.9
2. Place new passive provider in a logistics network
3. Set a limit in the new passive provider
4. Open the logistics window (L)

Game then hangs indefinitely with no errors in the log.

Is this the same issue that you have fixed?

the chests at the screens arnt limited, cause the whole smelting line is limited with circuit at the input inserters
