[Rseding91] [1.1.26] Replay function out of sync

When watching a replay of a playthrough i noticed that after a while the character was doing completely different things compared to what i did in the playthrough.

1. What did you do?

I started a replay of my playthrough (i used lots of blueprints from the library that i will provide later). I watched it at 64x speed to speed up the process. I also made some savefiles every once in a while to debug my build (i will provide all of these).

2.What happened?

After a while i noticed that my character was completely out of sync. It was running around in my base getting stuck on different thing, while in the playthrough i was doing completely different things far from the base. I first noticed the issue around the rocket lauch (around 3:30 - 4:00 hours in). The issue became more and more obvious as time progressed, and around of the last save (roughly 4:50:00) the character had different equipment and was just running around in circles inside the base, while in my playthrough i was far from the base building new blueprints. This is shown in the last 2 or 3 savefiles where you can see a bunch of blueprints placed but never built west of the base.

Things to note:
After a while my pc couldn't keep up with ups with 64x speed so it gradually slowed down.
In the replay I am sure i clicked on the continue button after the first rocket launch at a different time compared with the run.
The run was done in multiplayer mode, but i was the only one playing.
In the run i was unlocking achievements while in the replay all of them were already unlocked.

3. What did you expect to happen?

I expected the replay to follow exactly what i did in the playthrough.

3:52:10 - replay rockwet launched
4:08:40 - replay science shortage 1
4:44:20 - replay WTF
4:54:50 - replay completely out of synch

Thanks for the report. This took a while to figure out because I had to let the replay run until it broke on my end. But it's now fixed for the next release.

Thank you for fixing this! I didn't expect it to be so though, i'm sorry you had to "watch" the replay many times, it was fairly long as well... If i may ask, at what point and why does the desync starts? was it the rocket launch?

It was the victory screen. The act of pausing the game through that GUI caused all of the input actions get applied 1 tick too soon from that point on.

oh wow, that seems very subtle to find... And it has such a huge impact!
