Why my 500C° pipe froze?!

You know... you could probably try to come up with some arbitrary explanation why the turbine might still not function when not being actively warmed from the outside or something but...

I mean... I feel like he kind of has a point... a little bit at least... I just find that statement hilarious.

Cause if your steam would Heat the Pipe and the turbine it would lose Heat and then your turbine wont work cause it needs 500°C steam
edit: dont mind me, basegame factorio has no minimum temperatures

1. Okay If I heat it with a heat pipe (50°C) then the turbine temperature for operation should be 450°C.
The game has electricity production modifiers. It's like a reactor. Why not reduce production if the temperature is below the required one by a certain percentage. That would be logical.
2. Energy conversion efficiency. Some of the useful work goes into the heat, the Energy conversion efficiency of the turbine is 100%?
if so, then we don't need a quantum processor, we have an almost perpetual motion machine here.

You're writing utter nonsense. There are no losses in the game when generating energy and transferring and converting it.
The essence of this topic is the rebalance of the mechanics of temperatures on Aquilo.
And we are talking about a stupid temperature distribution system ONLY from a heat pipe.
Steam pipes should work in the same way as heat pipes and have a larger heating area and a smaller supply of thermal energy. So that steam pipes can be used as local heating of a small section of the factory, and heat pipes for the main heat transfer between the sections.
The mechanics of steam condensation should also appear. It will make it possible to remove absurd steam tanks and make a water recycling cycle at nuclear power plants.

… wait until your fusion reactor with 1M °C plasma inside freezes …

I think primarily I wasn't really sure what a "hot" structure should be. Things like electric furnaces, and the steam turbines being frozen were confusing when I first landed, and they made initial setup take I think more time than necessary.
I do like the heat-pipe gameplay currently, but it makes some things like fusion reactors a really big puzzle it seems, and you don't have a lot of space to experiment right away.

Kind of makes sense for structures since they are perfect insulators in Factorio Land, but for pipes its kinda hilarious, its just a long... pipe... where the liquid flows, if the liquid isn't frozen it should work.
