I don't know. I mean I watched some and it's really good. But if I make it sticky the problem with that is, that the next will come and make tutorials, too. The game develops and in 2 month some of that gets obsolete. And why -root and not others, which already made video tutorials?

I invite to make that in the wiki. The wiki is exactly the place to handle such stuff in neutral way. Either do it yourself (create a link on main page under "let's play" like "video tutorials" or so), or it takes some days and I will link it.
That page can change, that page can be linked from the forum in a sticky thread.

I'm ok with it not being stickied. I do agree with ssilk. Sticky one, sticky them all.

Picked a couple to watch for a quick spot check (cause I'm nice like that ) and heard another error.
In your Alien Science Packs video, 1000 Science pack 4s for Rocket Defense research, not 1000 artifacts.

Also, not using productivity in your labs during SP4 research?
I see you're using Power Armor 2, so you got the research and resources for L3 Productivity modules.
Especially with Rocket Defense, getting 12 research credit for every 10 packs used helps a lot more than saving a little extra power.
Science labs are quite low in power requirements these days, so there's rarely a point to using efficiency modules in them.

Mind posting the math on this?

In particular how the gain in productivity overcomes the loss in speed.

Most importantly, for artifact-based research, it's not about speed as much as it is availability. It's not uncommon to have your labs run out of SP4s between biter killing trips. No point in speed if they end up sitting still.

Also the speed penalty can be mostly offset by building a beacon or two.

Building a Clock Using Logic Gates

Someone asked me last night on the live stream what the super prank was that I was going to pull in the Hydra Dilemma and I decided to spill the beans. So considering the cat is out of the bag, I figured I had better post the build log/tutorial so everyone could see how it works.

Yes, you can build a clock (albeit, a very inaccurate one) in factorio. All you need is some red/green wire and some patience
