I know there are several topics about simmilar issue here, but i already wen't trough them

I restarted Mozilla, Restarted computer, even cleaned registry and cookies, but I still can't log in

Few days ago, I logged without issues, to make response to one mod.
Today I got reply, but can't log in

When I try I get the login tab, but after logging in, nothing happen
When I try second and any subsequent time I don't even get the login tab, the page just reload itself

After deleting cookies (and by doing so log myself off of any other accounts on any other page, mind you)
Login window pop up but won't log me anyway (all other logins on other pages, Factorio or else worls just fine)

When you log out and log in again on factorio.com, does it not log you in on mods.factorio.com as well?

I'm logged here, even reloged and mod portal won't log me at all

it does not even show login tab
it just reload the page

EDIT: I'm not mooder, just basic user - Could it be because I did not update to 1.1.48 (because of mods) I still have 1.1.46 wich was actual six days ago

updated version of the game, login still not working (as mentioned above, when I deleted cookies, login window popped up, but did not logged me anyway) any subsequent try to click on login just reload the page

logging to any other sites I use from news site to Brony forum works ok

I did not ask anything about the forum login.

Maybe try Firefox in troubleshoot mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/di ... shoot-mode

nope - when I log out of factorio.com and relog again ( I tried both normal log in and through Steam) it works fine, but mod portal is still logged off

the only change was that now when click to login, I always get the login tab (even repeatedly) but login both usual and trough steam results only in reloading the page and no login

I will check the troubleshooting

openig mozilla in Troubleshooting DID log me in mod portal, so it is probably in some extension or HW acceleration (according to the help page)
But I did no changes in my mozilla since that week ago (maybe except the browser itself downloading some update) basicly only plug-in I use is adblock

EDIT:

YES it was Hardware Acceleration, with it off, the loging works fine even outside troubleshooting mode

nope, broken in Chrome derived browser "Vivaldi" as well. can't do anything in mod portal. please fix.

That sounds like a different issue, since the OP didn't report any error messages. Try the fix in viewtopic.php?f=11&t=100176 , had to do it myself a couple weeks ago.

I just had a very similar (likely the same) issue. I fixed it by clearing all the cookies and site data associated with factorio.com and logging into both the forum and the mod portal again.

Before that, multiple browser restarts didn't fix the issue.

ok, great. then Sanqui can fix it in the web script because it's not anything any of us should have to do.

looks like when you changed how the cookies work recently you added a dot to the beginning of the domain that the session cookie lives for.

if you go to www.factorio.com and try to login, there it will work. if you go to factorio.com and try to login, you get the CSRF failures.

this is why we don't change cookie stuff after the fact without also having some kind of 'migrations' script that tries to negate the previous cookies.

ah, nope still can't login to mod portal.

I am unable to log into the mod portal today.

I made an update to one of my mods last weekend (Nov 20, 2021) and need to make a bug fix.

As with others, I got an error, cleared cookies, and now just get returned to the login page.

Also (perhaps unrelated) the search function is not working.

I have tried on Opera and Brave browsers.

Yeah since my post I'm no longer logged into the mod portal and can't get back in - hitting login just reloads the page with no changes, no errors.

This is on Chrome. FF seems to be working fine.

I was able to login using Firefox.

But that doesn't change that login is broken on the mod portal for some browsers.

Maybe you have an outdated session cookie. Could you please go to mods.factorio.com with Chrome, press F12 -> Application -> Cookies -> https://mods.factorio.com and check if you have two session cookies? for .factorio.com and one for mods.factorio.com? If yes the latter one is causing the issue, so please right-click -> delete the cookie with Domain=mods.factorio.com

I'm also working on a server-side fix for this issue. (and the CSRF session token expired issue)

Could please also check your session cookies for mods.factorio.com in Firefox?
