[MOD 0.13] SpaceBook - a multiplayer / PvP / RP manager

Ello! Spacebook is a very useful mod for setting up PvP, but I've run into a problem.
Almost every time I attempt to do something in Spacebook, it crashes, with the following error:

Code: Select all

Error while running event on_gui_click (ID 1)
__SpaceBook__/utils.lua:175: bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table expected, got nil)

I'm currently running Factorio 0.13.15 (experimental), Steam edition. I hope you can fix this bug!

I have a big bug and can't resolve it...
I'am logout in my avatar. When load my save game, i'am in avatar but when i'am desactivate avatar mode or i'am teleport i'am this error :


It's impossible for me to play with my caracter...

I try disable mod witout sucess, there is not caracter... avatar only.

It's as if my character no longer exists.

It's okay if I lose my character with its inventory.

I'd like to just get a character...

- est-ce que tu es dans une map multi joueur ?
- on dirait que tu t'es déco dans ton avatar, puis la force à laquelle tu appartenais a été détruite, puis tu as essayé de te reco.
est-ce possible ?

essaie avec cette version corrigée et dis moi si ca marche :

si tu es sous steam, envoie moi ton pseudo qu'on puisse échanger plus facilmenet si ton pb persiste.

oui de base il s'agit d'une map multi (jsuis proprio du serveur).

J'ai testé pas mal de chose comme désactivé le mod, tuer mon personnage mais rien ni fait.

Je reste dans mon avatar et à chaque fois, j'ai un message d'erreur.

Je test avec cette version et je te fait un retour.

teste en MP mais sans autre perso co

avec cette version il va te remettre dans la force "player".
regarde si ton ancienne force existe toujours et dis moi.

En fait j'ai trouvé le pb.
J'avais pas prévu que les gens se déco en avatar.
Maintenant ca devrait mieux marcher.
Il faut juste que tu te réaffectes à ton ancienne force.

J'ai testé avec la version 1.0.18, même soucis.

J'ai testé la réafectation dans une autre force sans succès, il me dit que je suis dans mon avatar et je ne peux changer de "force".

Tu as essayé la 2eme version ?
Voir juste au dessus

essaie d'abord de réintégrer ton corps en cliquant le bouton avatar.
ca ne devrait plus planter avec la version juste au dessus. j'ai testé.
puis réaffecte la force.

I have this mod installed on a server with no other mods installed. I tried to promote my friend to a higher rank, but if i tried to promote or lower his rank while he was offline, the server would crash.

I will think about adding free "resources" tools in SB, to manually create free ore patches, deforest some zones, kill aliens in some zones, etc...

I do appreciate the consideration to perhaps add it though.

So here it is, please update SpaceBook (uninstall AutoPvp), craft the free SpaceBook tool, and if you are admin and activate cheat mode, you can now draw resources on the map, wipe resources or trees, kill a zone of aliens, etc...

It is a simple implementation, but it should do the basics of what you need.

Tell me if it works for you.

Note that if you want to draw wide areas, you can use my Zoom mod to "unzoom wide".

With regard to resource generation, RSO has recently been updated to include a few remote call functions to generate starting areas for multiplayer. It can clear an area and generate all resources as defined by the various RSO config files, effectively giving multiplayer forces the same kind of start as you would get in a single player game with RSO. I wonder if it is possible to implement a button to call these functions (if RSO is detected by Spacebook) to clear the area and generate resources through RSO at a forces spawn location? I'm thinking a button or two under the force specific controls next to the Starting Point Set and Go To buttons.

Hi, I had a look to RSO source and it appears that it does not provide any external interface for local zone control by another mod. It just provides an interface to regenerate the whole map. You should ask orzelek for such a "per-zone" interface, and then I'll integrate a button in SB to generate a zone at a force location.
