Hi!

I'm very new to LTN. I have a provider station into which I am feeding "Disable Warnings" signal. However the warning about a trains leaving with imcomplete order still appears as a blinking icon to the right of the toolbar. The alert does not appear as a console message. When I don't feed the input signal, it makes no difference: I still get the blinking alert icon and no console message. My log level mod setting is "2:Information".



I'd like it to behave like this:

Station *with* signal "Disable Warnings": blinking alert icon and console message
Station *without* signal "Disable Warnings": no blinking alert icon and no console message

What have I got wrong?

Disable Warnings only affects chat notifications, that's intended.
Checking the signal during alert generation would create too much overhead.

Please explain how I should confiugre the settings to suppress the blinking Icon appearing to the right of my toolbar. Any flashing alerts perceived in the corner of my eye make me nervous and irritated while concentrating on the game.

Disable Factorio Alerts in player settings.

The only Alerts setting I can find to disable are the sounds.
I don't see anything in player settings that disables the visible alerts flashing on the screen.
I also want to disable the stupid flashing alerts that have plagued this game from the beginning.

There are mods for that.

I knew about the first mod. That mod either disables the flashing by making it completely invisible, or makes it halfway transparent but still blinking.
I need it to be visible but not blinking. That mod is useless to me.

Thanks for the link to the other mod. It looks like that will be helpful.
