Might be nice to be able to specify a time-to-live for custom alerts. Just a random thought that came up

Sorry but the alert system doesn't support custom alert times. All alerts have a fixed lifetime based off the alert type (custom, entity-died, out-of-materials) and such.

Oh I think I remember seeing something about that once. Would it be possible to document that fixes TTL in the API docs somewhere?
