Starwhal? It's amazingly fun but simplistic and only MP local play right now (no single player). Youtube videos of it tend to be funny though (imo)

Tiy actually did a good amount of code as well. And I know Tiy was at one point the lead dev, this changed recently. Red didn't do sprites though, which is why he had to hire a new spriter to work on Terraria 1.2[/quote]
I know I'm responding to a 'old' post but Tiy did not code for Terraria. He was only just learning how to code when he left, and I don't even believe Red gave him access to the code. In fact in those days Red hadn't given the source to anybody. Hard to do coding work without the code ;)

Just wanted to clear it up because there has been a lot of rumours flown around about things between Terraria/Red and Starbound/Tiy most of it not true.

Just want to bump this thread and ask if there are any new indie-games that are worth looking at?

I guess most of the ones mentioned here are still pretty fresh.

I'm looking forward to Incognita/Invisible Inc. as it got renamed. It's going to be a turn-based stealth game by Klei (Don't Starve, Shank, Mark of the Ninja)(MotN is the best stealth game I've played in the past few years), so chances are it will be worth the wait.

Oh this looks interesting...

I'd also mention Son of Nor, though it's not entirely stealth it looks like it'll be impressive (I prepaid back when they were crowd funding...that's been awhile now, and unfortunately their alpha through steam is...too intense for my laptop lol)

I'm waiting for Stardew Valley; that's a quite good looking game similar to Harvest Moon. The clou is that it got multiplayer. Look it up, Chucklefish releases it, too.
