[SOLVED][1.1.104] Crash when loading into the main menu

every time i try to open up the game, when im around 50% into the loading screen a "unexpected error occurred" weirdly enough i can still play the game with the error up, but if i close the error window the game also closes completely.
i have tried to update my graphics card driver, i have tried to uninstall and reinstall and nothing works
the error window just says to post on this forum for help

This almost looks like it's crashing in something that has hooked into the game.
Can you try closing everything else on your computer and see if it still crashes? If it does, re-open things 1 at a time until finding what's causing it.

Restart your PC if you haven't yet, if that does not help, download and try the .zip version with default settings.

no still dosent work even with zip file. the file attached is the zip file crash

Open the config.ini of your .zip install and replace the line
Code: Select all
; enable-steelseries-gamesense-support=true
with
Code: Select all
enable-steelseries-gamesense-support=false

Are you sure you changed it exactly as I said?

im pretty sure, maybe i should try to uninstall steelseries?

That's why I did not say replace true with false and instead gave you the whole line...

yeah it worked no problem since i got this pc
i have around 250 hours in factorio i just took a month or 2 break so i dont know why all of the sudden it wont open

The post tile says solved but I don't see anyone mentioning what the issue was?
