when loading the save, it gives an error "Corrupt map: unknown item prototype ID 49104." There is an entry in the debug.log file "[1007 / 224730.924: ERROR: settings.cc (325)] Settings version is not 1"
When loading auto save 20 minutes earlier, there is no error. Why this error?

I have a similar issue after upgrading to "0.18.1":
Corrupt map: unknown item prototype ID 640.
It doesn't seem to make a difference if i enable/disable mods.

Most likely all of those issues are due to the loader mod(s) you're using and as the error says: the map(s) are corrupt. The only 2 ways to work around the issue are:
1. Load the save in latest 0.17 and delete all of the loaders you're using then re-save it then it should load in 0.18/without the mods in 0.17.
Or
2. Start a new map in 0.18.

I donĀ“t have any loaders besides the normal ones(coal,electric,fast .....) .
The Savegame works fine on my Singleplayer game. It just crashes on my dedicated server on g-portal.

Hello,
that's unfortunate that there seems to be no other way.
I don't use loaders (at least I'm not aware of any).
Regardless in my case I can confirm that a 0.17 save with all mods disabled can also be loaded into 0.18 without any error. Obviously all modded items are gone, so I guess in my case it is really boiling down to restarting the map, spawn in the items, or play the particular save with 0.17
Thanks for looking into that and your quick help.

I'm going to look into this more and try to confirm what ever is happening just to be sure.

Is this still an issue in 0.18.3 or newer? There was problem in with Linux build that was causing issue like this. It was solved in 0.18.3, and since nobody posted log, I'm gonna assume you are run the game on Linux and it was the same issue.
