Hello,
new bugfixes every day, hooray :)
No .. seriously we are sorry for so many bugfix releases, we hope it to get better when we start to do more automated tests for the 0.9.
  • Bugfixes:
    • Script fixes in the first demo level.
    • Fixed wrong item counts in circuit network when rebuilding non-empty chest connected to the network.
Downloadable at https://www.factorio.com/download/experimental as usual, or by automatic updater as long as you have checked to download experimental releases.

What will happen after 0.8.9. Maybe, according to math it will be 9+1=10 so it should be 8+1=9 so... 0.9.0 B-) you have last try...

After 0.9 I think 1.0 will come :ยท3
And I hope there arent bugs so 0.8.9+0.0.1 doesnt happen :D

After version 0.9 comes 0.10 i believe. It doesnt have to be v1.0 direclty
Same applies for minor releases, so after 0.8.9 comes 0.8.10 and 0.8.11 etc

I dont say that after 0.9 1.0 will come because 0.10 cant exist, I say it because it is what I think from what I have observed :3

Well 8 is my personal lucky number, so I hope this will finally break our "bug losing streak" and we will make the 0.8.8 stable:)

Nahhh! It's not a "bug losing streak". It's just the side-effect of an aggressive feature-adding streak! :D
Hang in there. Only crappy boring games/apps can be coded without a bug popping up here and there. Factorio is complex and awesome.

Not true. Great games can also be coded without bugs but that usually means much slower development so you have to wait longer for new fetures to be implemented.

This may seem pedantic but, just because the 'release' doesn't have bugs doesn't mean that the development of the game didn't see bugs :) To actually be bug free would be a bit of a miracle (no typos, no off by 1 bugs, etc.). But yes, to have bug free releases would increase time between releases more than I'd actually like :D

Not to mention expense. Having a QA department large enough to actually have a reasonable chance of catching all bugs would be incredibly expensive to maintain.

When do you think the first multiplayer version will be out ? I don't wanna be rude or anything, but I've been very interested in this game from it's very beggining, but I kinda abandonned it and the forum for months ... Because the mainly thing I'm waiting for is multiplayer. And IMO, a multiplayer version is the thing most of people are waiting for.
Not trying to impose my opinion, just giving advices since you guys doesn't seem very good at selling, while you produce high quality concept :p

6 months after 0.9, at least. No guarantee.

Hey, I've just noticed playing the campaing, that when you load a save, all the debris goes away. I was playing the destroyed train station scenario in 0.8.7 and saved it. Then after installing 0.8.8 and loading the save, all the debris was gone. A bug?

I, for once, decided that bugs are not productive and decided to stop writing them. I'll update on my success in this matter.
