Seeding the demo

As you might have noticed since this weekend we added an option to download the demo through the torrents. Instead of the full game the user downloads a torrent file on the Factorio home page and then simply downloads the game with his torrent download software. However at the moment it is only us seeding the torrents and that is rather fragile. For instance during the night when our computers switched off the torrents became pretty much useless because no one was seeding them.
We might get a dedicated seedbox in the (near) future. However for now it would help us a lot if those of you who can and know how to do it could seed our demo. The torrents are available for download at
http://www.factorio.com/demo.
Thank you.

I am seeding all .28 versions. 5mbps upload speeds too
. If you need the Alpha seeded I could see it as well
Hope to see this succeed. It is pretty addicting and I can play it without a mouse on the run!

@Darthlawsuit Thank you ! For now we will use the torrents only for the demo. The alpha will be downloaded directly.

I'm now seeding all the 0.2.8 downloads too, when my computer is on.
(Which is probably like 15 - 20 hours a day :p)

Seeding now, according to the stats Win32 is the most popular demo downloaded! I'm seeding 5 GBs worth of each file, speeds downloading them is insane.

I would, as I have an excellent connection and an always-on server, but TPB is blocked my ISP, so I can't use your tracker. As such, no one else on the torrents can see that I'm using the torrent.

Have you tried using DHT? I didn't even know TPB still had a tracker.
By the way, I'm also seeding, least I can do

I've left the 0.2.10 torrents running for a couple of days and haven't picked anyone up on DHT. Still haven't been able to get it to talk to the tracker due to the aforementioned blocking. Have you considered using OpenBittorrent tracker as well, for those in my position? Just add udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80/announce to the tracker list as I did.

I am willing to seed this on my personal privately shared virtual machine server. It has a gigabit connection to the internet and I'd limit it to around 100KB/sec per connection so it doesn't eat up my bandwidth over the months.
However, to do this, I would need explicit permission from the developers saying that it's OK for me to seed their torrents. A quoted reply to this will do fine. This is because you use TPB as trackers. Please consider switching to openbittorrent or a similar tracker with the next release. Seeding this will flag my account, and they will come here looking for permission, because the tracker is TPB.
Bonus points if there's ever a RSS feed of them so I can fully automate this.

Oh.. I would expect the first post of this thread to be enough.
Doesn't it explicitly say "please seed your demo torrents" ?

It's never enough.

Thanks everyone for helping to seed the demo. However the torrent was a little bit unstable and there was overhead connected with that so we decided to take it down for now.
