BurnHard wrote:1.) Is it still planned to change the behaviour of the logistic robots, in that way that they take requested material from storage chests first instead of provider chests? Was hoping for it for 0.10.1 :)
Short explanation for this:

Now when the robots want something to build, they take it from the (passive) provider chest, and when the item is no longer needed or deconstructed it lands in the storage chests. Over time, all the passive provider chests, where you originally want to store these specific item get more and more empty, and the storage chests get one hell of a mess, because provider chests are prioritized over storage chests.

With the change (storage chests getting emptied first) the storage chests would only fill with items from the active provider chests and with deconstructed items unless they are needed again. Things stay in the passive provider chests where they are intended to be.

I am using Opera.
Let me know which version you need (for example windows x64bit) and we will find a way to get you to the current version 0.10.1 ;)

"nothing" is quite a broad term.

The links / content won't show if you aren't logged in.
You didn't forget to log in, did you?

Hmm thats weird, maybe it is required to have installed 0.10.0 and afterwards 0.10.1 to make it work? They changed something so the save's use only like 10% of the space they were using in 0.9.8 and 0.10.0

You should backup your save games. Install 0.9.8 and then let it update automatically to 0.10 (with experimental updates on in the options menu. )
Afterwards install 0.10.1 and see if that helps.

Okay, today was the first time Factorio stopped working.
I had to kill the process as it was using 90% of my ram which at that point were almost 15GB (i have 16GB in total)
Also it was causing a 100% load on my SSD which is an Samsung PRO. This bad boy can handle up to 500MB per second writing so i guess that escalated kinda fast ^^
Since this is a experimental release i guess i have to expect such things. However i thought it was kinda funny so i made a screenshot.

This is a know problem in 0.10.1 and should be fixed in the next release (see the Bugs forum). As a workaround, you can create a game in 0.9.8, save that game, then install 0.10.1 and load the game using the new version. Saving and loading should then work. Or just stick to version 0.9.8 or 0.10.0.

Thanks for trying to help, but please don't offer Factorio to download here (we've had some problems with that in the past).
We'd prefer to fix the problem on the web :-)

Jetex, if it still doesn't work for you, could you please make a bug report with your browser info and maybe a screenshot?
