As I remember, it was limiting further Factorio's developing and implementing new features.

I think it was mostly because 64-bit and 32-bit playing multiplayer together caused desyncs (and possibly other similar issues).

Something less critical: in the german version HD mode is labeled "Häufig" which means often not high. "Hoch" would be the correct translation. Or just "HD" or "spektakulär"

Tried for about an hour and half on deadly mode. Have not gotten any attacks yet, but I am heavily surrounded! Small features add up so much. I love how I can zoom in on the map screen and get that "old TV" look. Looks wonderful. Have yet to test nuclear power and new science packs. For now no bugs encountered (except for ROOT stuff obviously, but that was reported already). Can't wait for everybody to try the new minimap. It is just gorgeous. Good job! Thank you for the awesome update .

Deleting former Factorio versions making installing 0.15 on the Mac impossible.

But 0.15 not. Tried in game updater.

You need to join into beta release (right click game -> properties -> BETA -> and select 0.15)

How do I use the new train tutorials?

Tried to play on steam version, got the ROOT error.
Disabled steam cloud. Then it ran fine--- but it ran 14.23, not 15.0-- and yes, I used the betas menu. For some reason, turning cloud sync off disabled 15.0 for me!

Now attempting to download standalone version, as that seems to be more reliable from what I am reading here.

Ah, what fun it is to attempt to play something IMMEDIATELY upon release!
