Factorio 0.10.6 bugfix release has just been released

The updates for Mac os aren't present as I had problems with deploying on the system while Tomas is away, but the fresh version is downloadable.

• Bugfixes:
  • Fixed the occasional crashes when switching item groups in filter selection.
  • Fixed small inconsistencies of drawing logic of transport-belt based entities.
  • Fixed drawing of pipe covers for boiler that has less than 2 connections.
  • Fixed unnecessary drawing of pipe covers in some cases, not visible in normal game, but allows cad-like mods to be precise (https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... f=7&t=5018).
  • Fixed that furnace started to process the input even with no energy, so it looks like the item vanished, as the processing progress bar stops at 0 (https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... f=7&t=5071).
  • Fixed, that the selection box of curved rail ghost wasn't proper. (https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... f=7&t=5059).
  • Fixed minor bugs with ignored low influences in entity placement.
  • Fixed placement of rocks (getting rid of stone rings, https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... f=7&t=3208).
  • Fixed the visualisation of shooting target.
  • Fixed crash when Escape was pressed with the map exchange string field focused in the new game dialog (https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... =30&t=5005).
• Graphics:
  • Updated the hand picture.
  • Updated the battery, rocket(explosive), plastic bar, repair pack item picture.
  • Updated the editor tool icons.
  • Updated the biter icons (editor).
  • Updated shooting selection graphics.

Use the automatic updater if you can (check experimental updates in other settings) or download full installation at http://www.factorio.com/download/experimental.

Hey, if I didn't comment here then probably nobody would know about my videos.

Loaded it up and played some, love the fixes and the new icons. the new icons really add a nice polish to the game.

I haven't updated my factorio since 10.1, and when switch on experimental updates and check for a new update, the game says no new updates available... Should I just download a fresh copy? Or am I doing something wrong? It definitely should work with the firewalls and so on, since I have already updated with the ingame patcher before...

Auto update in 0.10.1 didn't work properly. You have to download from the website.

How come? I like these much better... the previous one looked like some kind of pen drawing a green line (usage bar).

The new repair kit looks like some old tools. Really something you have to build more than one time to repair something? Really something a robot uses to repair something? Don't know about that.

Hmmm... not sure about that. It's just an icon, a representation of what the item does. But it doesn't matter to me, it's not something I put on belts or even carry around much once bots come into play.

Also I'm sad, we can't update to this because of our series. I really want those new graphics...

y is it that i cant update even i checked the experimental download?. . Or even click the link of experimental download?.. . Hahayzz!!.. Stuck at v0.10.3

You mean you can't click https://www.factorio.com/download/experimental ?

Great, replaced the Plastic bar twice in the same major version (twice in the 0.10.x series), yet you still havn't updated the research icon for Plastics
you need to update the Battery research icon too.
