Hi there, any plans to mark an 0.18.x version as stable before the 1.0 release?

Any plans of pushing it to steam experimental channel for the clients?
It's showing up if you manually select it, but not updating when you have 0.18.x selected.
[Edit] Got fixed after i post it, stop ruining my fun :'(
[Edit2] Typo :/

every time they release, you ask something relating to steam. why not just download from factorio.com and use in-game updater?

geez, this again.
it will ALWAYS happen eventually guys, just give it a couple of minutes... up to an hour. i'm pretty sure it's all handled automatically and they can't speed it up if even if they tried.

factorio.com updater is usually updated first because the devs control their own website, pushing it to steam then becomes a steam release update and is done on steam's schedule, sometimes a wait of 2 hours is not out of the ordinary.
as for wanting to be one of the first to update, the experimental branch has seen several occasions where the release is pulled for a bug within an hour of release because there is a game breaking bug unaccounted for. i would recommend that most just wait for few hours before updating if not a day or two for that exact reason. even if the factorio devs usually fix it with in a few hours, yes these guys are awesome at this.
selecting the version on steam to 0.18.xx (where xx it is a specific version number) will not automatically update you, this is especially useful if you regularly join a server that doesn't update except on restart. if however you want to update automatically then you can select '0.18.x - Latest 0.18 Experimental.' if you use mods you may wish to stick with the specific version number as well, until mods have been updated for the latest version, as 18 has broken many mods with updates. most mod authors are on top of these changes and quick to update their mods so give them a few days to update them.

I'm one of them. Been doing it for years now. And I 100% guarantee that your asking for the release on Steam has 0 affect on how soon it's released on Steam.

So far it always updated within 5 minutes in all honesty (when it wasn't, it was not their fault, well ok maybe 1 but that was funny!), It's pushed really quick usually. Wont hear me complain about it, if you people cannot take a light sense of humor/sarcasm anymore in 2020, then perhaps skip till next year oof... there is already enough shit in the world atm.
Apart from that, nothing but appreciation for the hard work / consistent updates the devs poop out, wont lie, it's pretty amazing to follow such strict dev time flows.

Heavy Moiré Effect on the circuits now... not an improvement.

have you enabled cache-prototype-data?
Looks like updating to 0.18.30 (or maybe every new version) the cache gets reinitiated completely.
Starting the second time was fast again.
