Please have some patience. They will release it when they feel it's ready for us to test (play).
I'd like to comment on the research window popping up. Please put in an option to have the window NOT pop up. It's soooo annoying.
Questions:
Will there be PvP options? I'm not that interested in it, but I think it would be interesting to have PvP and Co-op options.
Will players be allowed to have their own research? Example: If I research steel chests, my partner will not be able to craft them until he/she researches it as well. I think this would add an interesting layer of team play, such as "you research this route to get ABC, and I'll research this way so we can get XYZ faster."

They're pretty clearly in the same room; At 1:52 the mouse points to the map and the other knows where it is pointing so we know they can see each other's screens.
I wouldn't expect in game communication yet at any rate. Right now they're probably quite focused on the raw basics of multiplayer.

Opinion: new running animation looks unnatural. Without bouncing or significant shoulder movements the torso looks disconnected from legs.

I hope not, in most games I've played with ingame voice chat we ended up using Ventrilo or Skype anyway, why waste time creating something that's already there..

Not interested that much in multiplayer, as it is more negative thing for me than positive.

Looks like some major progress and messing around has gone on in the last few weeks! I can't wait to play on multiplayer with my friends!
A racetrack would be really fun to build. Cars should be able to drift at high speeds, but I know multiplayer is first priority.

Suggest: Maybe you have it already but maybe store the players id/name for anything and everything they have placed. When you hover over it have an option to see the owner. I could see this being a big API Feature as well. Someone might make a protection system or do other unique things with it.

Well, you're not the first nor the last one to suggest that, but it's likely your post was among those that convinced them. I think it's mostly so there's a suitable counter to tanks and a type of enemy with ranged attack is the obvious solution.
