I've played Factorio for years.
This is my first 2.0 playthrough [2.0.9 no mods].
I tried to play the Train stops tutorial just to see what may be different.
At the point where the tutorial asks for chests to be placed at Station A, grayed out chests appear in the quickbar but there are no chests in inventory.
It might also help new players for the tutorial to instruct them to click on the locomotive to open the train schedule.
Another issue that can cause confusion is that the Train Schedule window now fills the screen obscuring the next steps from the tutorial.
This isn't the case prior to 2.0.
Prior to 2.0 the Train Schedule window remains open once completing the schedule and a new tutorial task appears to set the locomotive to Automatic.
In 2.0 I had to close the Train Schedule window to see this new task then reopen the window to set the locomotive to Automatic.
In 2.0 once I set Automatic the train proceeded to Stop A (as viewed within the Train Schedule window) but the Train Schedule remained open.
Prior to 2.0 setting Automatic resulted in the Train Schedule window closing so the next objective could be seen w/o having to close the train schedule.
Escaping (ESC key) the tutorial let me continue the game.
This is the only tutorial I've checked out in 2.0.
Others that include opening windows that now fill the screen may have similar issues.
2.0.9 showing no items to complete the tutorial.
2.0.9 showing the Train Schedule window filling the screen and obscuring the next tutorial step.
1.1.109 showing the Train Schedule open along with the tutorial objective visible.
1.1.109 showing the required items to complete the tutorial.

Re: [2.0.9]Unable to complete Train stops Tutorial
From my knowledge this issue was already fixed in 2.0.11 and it was related to giving items to a player that is in remote view.
Re: [2.0.9]Unable to complete Train stops Tutorial
Thanks.
I tested this in 2.0.13 and the tutorial can now be completed as the material required does show up in player inventory at the appropriate step in the tutorial.
Also, please note I was not in Remote View when I initiated the tutorial.
In my opinion it is still confusing to a new player to have the Train Schedule window obscuring the next step information from the tutorial.
This is not a problem for me as a seasoned player that knows the chime sound in the tutorial indicates there are new tutorial instructions and that if I close the obscuring Train Schedule I should be able to see them.
Should something like this be entered under the Ideas and Suggestions forum topic?
