Place a module in a machine.
Take a stack with at least two modules of a different kind.

Left klick on the module in the machine.

The replaced module is in the slot with the hand icon.
You need to press Q twice to clear the cursor

This also happens for me while [ctrl] clicking modules into machines in the Space Exploration modpack. The hand icon moves to the top-left inventory slot.
