Nearly blank gray screen on game load.

Hi all,
Just went to load up the game and am greeted by the following:

I'm running a 2012 MacBook Pro, Mojave 10.14.6 with 16GB of ram. No issues prior to updating Factorio to 1.1.33
Issue persists with or without mods, and after downloading and re-installing the game as well. The initial cutscene shows without issue, as does the pause menu. Map preview before starting the game is fine as well. Currently downloading Stable 1.1.32 to see if that makes any difference.
