Purchased the game after hearing about it on another forum.

Purchased the game for a friend who now hates me.
Lost my friends wife as a friend because she lost her husband
Lost my ex-friends brother as my ex-friend picked it up for him.
Lost my wife as I just had 'one more thing do to'
Brother in law got fired for not turning up for work because that one more thing was to pick up him a copy.

Great game. would buy it again, but I just lost my job for playing it at work.

:(

Somehow I have over 100hrs played in 3 weeks.

Have started 10 games, two to rocket launch and beyond, now train fever, totally awesome game.

It's like sandbox heaven for those who like logic puzzles.

I made an account JUST so i could make this post. I want to thank the devs for how well they have optimized the game. I am able to run the headless on a Cheap AF Azure server (Basic A0 0.25 Cores, 0.75 GB memory) and yet the game runs just fine for me and my friend. Was very surprised and happy to see it was using very little in both the CPU and RAM department, i was worried i would need a bigger VPS. I will most likely need a larger server once our maps start to get big but for now this works and i love it.

[Koub] Took the liberty of merging tour topic into the old one because well ... you guess why :)

Just chiming in with another "thank you." I've burned a whole lot of hours on this, and now I'm getting into modding something for the first time ever, just because this game is so bloody cool.

Rarely has a game captured my imagination like this one. I've played tons of resource gathering/tech tree research type games but none as addictive as Factorio is. I would like to thank the dev team for all their hard work. You all rock!

The more I play it, the more I like it. Everything is great in this game, and it's not even a 1.0 release.
It made me stop playing fallout 4!

GG guys. and thanks :D

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to the lovely dev team for creating this game. I have been waiting for such a game since I was a small child. Free Enterprise (yes, an ancient game!) was the first grab my attention, but it had some serious flaws. Big Pharma is a pretty decent game, though limited because of the puzzle aspect.

Factorio brings us ENDLESS terrain to build the most sprawling, gigantic, billion-tentacled, (I mean "conveyor-belted"), monster of a factory with no limits! It is a dream come true! All the conveyor belts... mmmmmmmm..... :D

I was looking for a proper place to put thanks and finally found it :D
I also want to thank all the mod devs and even the game devs for putting out such a great game. My wife and I been playing for a couple months now and put in over 500 hours to this game. We recently launched to space and wanted a new twist, so I came here. It was a bit overwhelming where to find things but once I found my way around came pretty quickly to me. With the mods were using on our LAN game, we have a whole new game now. We're currently using these mods: Bobs Assembly, Bobs config, Bobs Electronics, Bobs Enemies, Bobs Library, Bobs Logistics, Bobs Modules, Bobs Ores, Bobs Plates (Metals Chemicals and Intermediates), Bobs Power, Bobs Tech, More Light, and Tree Farm lite.
I especially like being able to use more for wood and trees now. Rather then just setting up logistics to send them down an extremely long trail of chests that then go to wooden chests to be later, shot down with a shotgun.
I been watching the Youtube vids "Bobs Mods Madness" to learn and it helped a great deal.
What would be cool to see is a different ending or maybe mulitple ending or something like that. Maybe instead of launching the rocket, it would launch an Ion cannon satellite that could be used for extremely overpowered mobs but at extreme energy costs. (enough to make almost any base no matter what power it has, shut down and become vulnerable). It also be nice to see some realism added. For instance, in reality when mining, there is also trailings (waste) that is always a major problem to discard and can even create sulphuric acid as some of it is sulphur and mixes in the enviroment and water. This would then melt down other metals around the acid and create an even further problem. Just throwing it out there but thanks again and hope to see more people using these mods :)
