Just what the Subject says. I've ran across them a few times and have no Idea what to do with them.

They are added by Angels Mods, you will need a special building for them. At least if it looks like a big rip in the earth. No idea what the name is right now, but it should be on the very bottom of the tab with all the refinig stuff from Angels (all the refining steps and buildings) and says something about fissures in the tooltip.

That pumping device is called as thermal water extractor and it produces thermal water. It is necessary to get lithium for lithium ion batteries. You can also convert it to mineral sludge and get other metals.
