More music?

I absolutely love the music in this game. But since this is a game you literally play for 100s of hours if not 1000s of hours. I was wondering if there is any new music in the upcoming experimental or next stable release?.

Thanks

I can't answer your question, but I've been gathering some third-party music on youtube, why not give it a go?

Oh that looks like a good list, i will definitely give it a whirl.

What i really like about the Factorio music, is that it is so unique, it has this stalker'ish vibe to it for me. It just fits so well, it would be a damn shame if they dont get the author to do more music for the game.

The current music is a placeholder (https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... 552#p51552). They have a musician working on proper soudntrack, but I don't recall seeing a message saying when we can expect that...

Oh well im sad its just a place holder. Because it fits so well imo. Hopefully the real music will be just as ambient, dark and fitting.

But thanks for the info.

As the Music Artist does lots of Orchestral Tracks, Im afraid the well fitting Ambient Music will be replaced by "epic orchestral go-on-my-nervs" tracks ^^

Would like to hear a short example what he is working on for factorio ?

I think this is the artist, right ?

So much of Klepacki's work is a good fit for this game. : )
