External images in posts now replicated locally

Imgur has announced that they will begin purging anonymously uploaded images (read more). In order to protect this forum from the upcoming imgur apocalypse and other link rot, we have now started re-hosting external images embedded in posts. Existing posts were already processed and images that are still available downloaded; images in future posts will be fetched on a weekly or daily basis (due to be tuned). This is unlikely to affect you directly, but it's a change in how the forum operates, so please let us know if you encounter anything strange. The same will be soon done for the mod portal.
