So I went hunting for alien artifacts and died horribly at the hands of some rocket turrets. This was the first time I had died on free play (I had died before in story mode and had to restart the level which seemed reasonable) but on free play I had to restart from my last save which was an hour before I left hunting and all the progress I had made was lost. I don't mind restarting from my last save as long as the auto save feature happens more frequently or there is a hotkey made for auto saving. Anyway, can't wait for the next update

You can set the auto save to save your game every 1-100 minutes.

My autosave was saving every 2 minutes.
I wonder why was your autosave interval different.
