Equalize Axes of Production/Consumption Graph

I'm not sure if this is already the case, but Why not have the continuous line graphs on the production statistics screen share the same Y- Axis values.
For instance, If I select Copper plates on both consumption and production, The graph Y-Axis will be 10k (or some other number relative to which ever chart has the highest value) for both graphs. This way, we can have an easier time Comparing the graphs and the stats they contain.

That minor tweak would make finding production bottlenecks a lot easier.

I agree, it has always bothered me when "production" and "consumption" graphes don't share their Y axis scale.
[0.17] Link Production and Consumption scaling graphs

It would be nice if it would be possible to link the scaling of the production&consumption graphs to the same scale. Currently is is tedious to compare them.
Option/button to display production/consumption graphs at same scale

As per the thread title, it would be nice to have an interface setting or UI button to have power and item production and consumption graphs display on the same Y scale.
Particularly for items, this would make it easier to see at a glance how production and consumption for a particular item compare.

This would be nice; as previously suggested
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=58578 the entire production GUI deserves some love!

Button to graphs to same scale on production GUI

I don't know about anyone else but I'l find it much more intuitive on item production/consumption graphs if both sides had the same vertical scale, so I could more easily visually compare the two.
Some kind of button between the graph panes to toggle displaying both of them at the same scale would be helpful.

Yeah, sounds simple.
Equalize Axes of Production/Consumption Graph

TL;DR
Making the axes of the production and consumption graphs the same would make reasoning about your factory's output much easier.
What ?
When I'm setting up blue science, for example, and I finally turn all the machines on and provide them with their required materials, I like to take a look at the production/consumption graphs for the first few minutes to see if I got all my ratios correct. It's helpful to look at the production and consumption of each intermediate product to see if there are times where consumption is more than production or vice versa. But the axes of the two graphs are at two different scales, as shown in the below screenshot. It would be much easier to tell how the production related to the consumption if the axes were the same. This could be toggleable, but I think it would actually be reasonable to display the axes as the same all the time, since the entire point of the production/consumption graphs seems to be to compare production and consumption
This idea gets at a similar desire to a couple of other suggestions that have been made. I believe this particular suggestion would be a much smaller change for a decently large benefit.
Similar suggestions:
Add new graph for production minus consumption:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=50655
Add demand statistics:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=111774
I am also very interested in these other suggestions to see where they lead
Why ?
Equalizing the axes of the production/consumption statistics would help immediately visually identify any problems in production and make monitoring factories much easier.

If one of the graph has a big spike, the other one will be needlessly compressed and couldn't be read anymore no ?

Perhaps it could be a toggle? It's pretty common thing to do with graphs. For a 1min-interval, a spike probably wouldn't be relevant and could be allowed to exceed the boundaries.

Problem i see with spikes is that they can be caused by trains having periodic behavior so may be relevant / caused the graph to be compressed. ( if you have only 1 train bringing stuff per 1 minute, they may be a single spike of prod and its height is what would matters ).
A toggle make sense for showing stats though.

A toggle might be pretty helpful, then. That would ensure that if you filtered just the production graph, for example, to include only one product, then that graph's axes would still be reasonable by default (rather than sharing a y-axis with your consumption graph that isn't being filtered).
