Doors/Gates

Since we have walls, I figured it would be useful to have gates or doors so I could go through but creepers can't. They could be opened/closed manually, or automatically when I stepped near them.

They are going to do it anyway at some point :)

I dunno, I kinda like the open spots in the wall, since it appears to me that creepers try to path-find through them. That way I can focus my defenses on the open "gate" spots, whereas the wall itself serves just as a barrier to direct the enemy hordes into my turret arrays.

So IF they're going to add gates and doors, they should make the enemies pathfinding acknowledge them as weak spots, so this will still work.

Well, how I see it is, they are always open unless enemies are nearby. Then they close.

Well if they add them nothing stops you from using it.

Sounds more like an electric fence/wall :) Also walls could return damage against attacking biters, just none have been made to do so (as far as i know)
