How copy settings of an entity via blueprint

Post by Hermios »

Hi
When I create an entity, it has specific settings/options.
Question: How to maintain those via blueprint? When I take a standard entity (for instance an arithmetic combinator), then blueprint it and past it, its config is copied to the new blueprinted item. How to maintain it on my own entities?
Thanks.
Niko

There are two mods that I use to enhance the copy paste feature.
CopyAssemblerPipeDirection and CopyPasteModules.

Once I paste a blueprint that has what I want, I can copy and paste the settings to existing items in the game to match the items in the blueprint I just pasted.
Is this what you mean?

Other than using one of those green upgrade things, I don't know what else would work.
Sometimes I will just delete the existing things and use a blueprint to replace them. It is sometimes helpful to have multiple versions of a blueprint that I use a lot. Such as one for early game with yellow belts, another for mid game with red belts, etc.
