Would you consider increasing capacity of those chests?

From few versions of Factorio very big chests are supported so those long ones could get closer to capacity of normal solo chests.

Is it possible to get this mod working with the 8L Train Project viewtopic.php?f=91&t=19458 ?
The chests must be 8 tiles width...

It's really possible, you can edit the files. I made a custom one 6 and 12 tiles long.
You should check previous page, i asked how to customized this.

I saw that mod. Its not to hard to adjust.
Ill look it to it. First I want to use that mod myself.
Which will motivate me to do this change asap

For me most trouble seems to be in editing pictures to make them look proper - but I'm a software guy

First I want to thank you for this very useful mod.
I need not only together switch for trains, but also to factories.
In order to use trains is the length of 7 ideal for me.
I use the Yuoki-wagons.
This leaves no gaps, and 3 wagons can be loaded easily with various articles.

What do I need, would be a chest with a width of 3, instead, to interconnect a field factories better. (3 * 3, 3 * 5, 3 * 7)

Could you make a configurable mod?
It seems to me that this is the only "problem" at the mod.
(It is a great fun, to speak here of a problem )
As picture but a universal image is conceivable that the length and width automatically adapts.
It would only have the various types (wood, iron, steel, smart box (green), Provider (red), requester (blue)) are considered.
So were their most universal mod so far.

Hey dude, Changing the chest dynamically is something I'd love to do. But its outside of my skill set as of right now. I'm not a coder by trade. It would also require that I create new art renders for each possibility and that can be a lot of work. I wouldn't mind it. But since I can't do the first, there is no point in doing the second thing.

The warehouse mod might be something for you though.

I have considered it. But I wont, I think there should be a cost to having a alternative chest that serves a function.

But feel free to adjust the mod to your own needs. If you need help. Let me know

Im going to wait with adjusting the size of these chests.

I would really appreciate if you release an 0.13 version.
