I discovered this mod in an old community spotlight, but I notice it hasn't been updated in a long time.

Are you still working on this mod, or have you abandoned it? When I saw this mod I was ecstatic, because I always wanted a game with this sort of mobile base building theme.

This looks cool! I would definitely be interested in trying it out if it's updated.

It is possible to stop the train at 2 locations on the easy map the first is just after the coal field and the second is just after the bridge across the lake although the second location is safer

if anyone interested, i fixed few issues with 0.15 and mod is working with 0.15
also there seems to be 0.14 version on github

Looks cool! By any chance are you planning on upgrading the mod to 0.16?

I know this is an old thread but it's not dead yet. And I found a mod that continues the legacy of the mobile base inside a vehicle that never ever stops.

This Tank Stops For Nobody by Mylon is for version 0.16. And he recently updated another of his mods from 0.16 to 0.17 so he is active. If people show appreciation for his work and show that there's interest in an updated version then he might be encouraged to update TTSFN to newest version. And while the train idea is cool, it can be a bit limiting since you stay moving to avoid getting surrounded but that means you can't really safely leave the train and extend the track. With a tank you can go wherever you want and you don't run out of resources because you run over the same spots on the same patches all the time. So it might be an even better idea.

If you could enter any train like in NESTT and have a rail network of trains that mine resources and have factories inside that would be cool though. Basically combining Factorissimo with NESTT and TTSFN so that you have trains, tanks and buildings that you can enter, and you can recursively have NESTTed trains inside your Factorissimo buildings which are inside a tank and so on.

well i got the mod itself to load in 1.0 but the scenario wont load as its to old. factorio wants a .16 or newer file so im going to go back a few versions till i find one i can load and resave it. might have to just redo it if its to broken

Ya I did that. Ive just to actually see if it works in 1.0 now or if the scripts are broken.
