Loading when deleting save games

I am trying to delete save games to free up space in my steam folder.
I press load...then hit delete, then at the confirm question I hit enter to delete but nothing happens. Then when I click delete, instead of deleting it loads that save file.
Previously I would just hit delete and then enter or click on the delete confirm button to delete it.
Not sure how this bug would be introduced but there you go.
