In the same way that we can save logistic groups and then easily share and modify them between space platforms, requests, trains, etc. I wish we could define targeting groups for turrets.

That way we don't have to go through every turret every time we want to adjust its setting, we just adjust it to the group that the turret belongs to and all the turrets there get updated.

1. You can shift-RMB on the turret with the settings you want, and shift-LMB on other turrets to copy it.
2. I like your idea and it would be good for, say, updating all the turrets in all your defensive walls.

I know about shift click but I don't want to manually go find and click every turret just if I want them to start or stop firing on a specific type of asteroid, or add or remove a new target to their priority list throughout nauvis.

I'd even add that all turrets should by default start by belonging to one of these groups, like all rocket groups automatically getting assigned to the "default rocket turret" group when they are constructed whether by hand or bot.

You don't think that the current possibility of using the circuit network for this is good enough ?
