After Killing a Medium Worm on Vulcanus I ran in with my mech amour to have my bots collect the remains.
I stopped my character over lava on top of the worm, the bots collected everything and I was unable to move from there on.

Waiting for several minutes while typing this bug report I was able to move again.

This seems to be the result of interacting with the plumes of the demolisher, that have grounding effect - mecharmor is not able to fly in those and character cannot walk on lava. When the plumes is dissipated, you can normally fly away.

I think, this is fine. If you want a lore-flavor reason for why it's ok, we can just say the armor malfunctions and until the corpse fades away you can't take off again.

In any case, you aren't stuck forever so simply waiting until the smoke clears gets you back to business.

Waiting is actually not an issue, I have a whole factory to fix remotely
Just as an idea, perhaps some indication that I am not just stuck and have to reload but just wait it out would be great.
Otherwise just close the bug report

There are sparks and arcs both graphically and acustically representing your mecharmor is not functioning properly.

But it lets you take the mech armor off over the lava too, while you're grounded from the demolisher. Then, you're stuck there in the lava even when the cloud is gone. I don't think you should be allowed to remove the armor, and I should be dead.
