[2.0.20] T-intersection after pump results in fluids trickling out

Hello,

I have a fluid tank with 25K steam and one incoming pipe that only generates steam.

On the other side I have a pump (set to enabled at steam > 5K).

I put a T-intersection at the pump exit.
The north branch leads to plants which are mostly full and barely run.
The south branch leads to plants which require steam constantly.

However, the pipes, and downstream plants, only receive a trickle of steam.
The fluid container is always full, but the pipes always read about 1.2 out of 100 and most of the south plants are starved.

If I remove the north branch, then the steam flows as expected.
If I remove the pump and use a straight pipe, then the steam flows as expected.
I also removed the circuit condition, but there was no difference.

Can you post the save file? That is normally needed for debugging.

Attached is the save file. The pump in question is on vulcanus, at the steam storage tank (south west).

A normal pump has pumping speed of 1200 fluid per second.
Steam condensation recipe uses 1000 steam per second.
To supply enough steam for your 8 condensation chemplants you'd need 7 pumps.

Maybe connecting condensation chemplants directly to acid neutralization and then put a pump on the outgoing water still controlled by the amount of steam would work for your design requirements?

I understand the set up may not be optimal. However, a lack of supply doesn't seem to be the issue. I have steam sitting in the tank, and in the outbound slots of each steam producing chemical plant. However, the downstream chem plants are starved for steam. I would not expect that to happen while the storage tank is full. Even if the pump cannot keep up with the demand, it should still quickly empty the storage tank in ~21 seconds.

If I disconnect the steam storage tank from acid neutralization chemplants, the tank indeed empties in about 21s.
It's just that one acid neutralization chemplant produces 2k steam per second, so 8 chemplants produce 16k steam per second, and they will fill an empty tank very quickly, certainly more quickly than one pump can pump out.

Oh, I hadn't considered that and now I feel dumb. It makes perfect sense now. Thank you
