How to further debug "Render Preparation" stutters?

I run the linux version (2.0.23) of the game on linux mint 22, and at random times I'm getting stutter / audio crackle, even when the character is stood still. The game runs smoothly the vast majority of the time, but I sometimes have "Render preparation" take EXTREME amounts of time, like 200ms+. I'm just wondering if there's any other debug options I can turn on to try find the cause of this? I've tried various nvidia drivers from 535 to 560, and other (more graphically intensive?) games don't have the same issue. My gpu usage is at approx 35%:

Did you ever figure this out? I am seeing, same thing on bazzite, however my numbers are not as dramatic, but the stuttering is driving me nuts

Using a i990kf and tested with 2080ti and 9070XT (different bazzite installs for nvidia vs AMD GPU)

Most likely it's caused by animated tiles which require drawing every tick. You could turn it off in graphics settings and see if things improve.
