[I tried to post this yesterday but my power went out so I don't think it was posted - apologises if it is a duplicate]

Normally I play with the sound off because other people are around, but I was along playing and wanted to be able to enjoy the sounds, but the robot recharge buzzing sound just sounds like my speakers are broken and was so loud and irritating (on Aquilo where I small spacing between roboports) I had to turn the sound off.

Is there any way to disabling that buzzing noise?

I saw this post (viewtopic.php?t=5460) but it is marked as resolved and I don't think it's related anyway.

I want to continue getting the new achievements, so a mod or console command will likely not be a viable solution.

There are tools to reenable achievements with mods and console commands, you can also directly modify the control.lua file in your savegame without causing issues.
