Currently the find feature (Ctrl+F on the map) doesn't support any type of chests. It would be nice to be able to find where storage chests are in the factory to see what's in them and where my items are going.

For items in Storage and Passive provider chests you can use Logistic networks overview (L by default).

I support your idea! I miss this feature too.
