Drafts as templates

Hi there.

I want to use drafts as templates, but they are deleted upon usage.
Is there any option to keep them after making a post?

I do not believe so. It's possible that there exists some phpBB extension that allows this (although I'm not seeing one off hand, and that would be a Sanqui question), but your best bet is probably just copying and pasting to a text file and saving that on your computer.

Why copy-pasting a file on your computer when you can copy-paste an existing draft? (without "loading" ot properly so it's not wasted)

Just make a draft for a post you never submit, and copy and paste it whenever you want.

That's exactly what I wrote. And exactly what I'm do. However, it's a lot of redundant operations and I'm asking if ut is possible to optimize it.

Sorry, I misread your post then, I thought you where complaining that you keep losing your drafts, and wanted a way to save them.
(as opposed to an easier way).

That seems like a similar level of complexity, so... personal preference?

In short: no way to optimize that I know of.
