A thought about chests and space

One or more of the devs doesn't really 'get' Physics. Have noticed a lot of sillyness like this

Weight in space? Um huh, yeah, sure...

But despite being annoyed by the intended concept that we can't use chests in space - that's not what the text actually says. It says this

Now, I have no idea if anyone would be interested in coding this, or playing it, but it would be a lot more interesting than having to cheese the devs intended design, a la Micheal Hendricks recent video.

A quick passage from a classic book, people who did pass year 12 Physics, Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle, The mote in god's eye (1974)

Not being allowed chests in space is just ridiculous. Not being allowed to open them except while accelerating - potentially interesting.

(of course, since acceleration isn't exactly handled well in Space Age, speed may have to be used as a test for having thrust, as a proxy for being under acceleration?)
