When an underground belt is facing east or west and being side loaded from the south, part of the metal wall is removed to visually allow for the one side of the belt to enter the sideloaded underground belt. It's a nice little attention to detail that occasionally pops up in factorio appreciation threads.

However, when the underground belt is facing south, you can still see the wall as a thin line of gray--and that line does not change when a belt is side loading, meaning the wall remains in place (and yes you can see that little grey line clipping through items as they are sideloading).

I know I know, it's a hilariously tiny detail, but hey, y'all cared for when it faces left and right, figured ya might care about it facing down too.

This can probably be moved to "minor issues." I'd actually have created it there in the first place if I could.

I would say this is only observable through the shadows of the underground belt and if you are looking at those knowing you are looking for a hint that side is open then at that point i would say you already know how underground belts and side loading works and do not need this detail anymore. Main issue with this is that if we would go for this level of details about underground belts and side loading, then underground belt would need to have extra structure and shadow sprites provided that account for left side being side-loaded and/or right side being side loaded. Current approach of only handling bottom part when underground is facing east or west is good enough. Minor issue.
