What did you do?

Restart Factorio after updating mods

What happened?

I have two Factorio windows on screen, the mod update (dead?) and the launch screen (live).

What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!

The mod update window disappears on restart.

Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?

This is the first time I've seen it.

Some specifics that might be useful:
- macOS 13.7.6
- old window was fullscreen on an external monitor (1)
- new window is windowed on another external monitor (2)
- Factorio used to launch on monitor 1 in previous Factorio/macOS versions, but now launches on monitor 2, and I have to move it and fullscreen it every time

There is only one factorio process running in the Dock and processes:
$ ps auxwww | grep Factorio
steam 57092 13.4 5.3 417408576 3523808 ?? S 8:35am 18:17.16 /Users/steam/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Factorio/factorio.app/Contents/MacOS/factorio

The desktop arrangement (spaces) is in the attached screenshots, Factorio (old) doesn't show a preview or window decorations, so macOS seems to be treating it as hung/gone.

Edit: Workaround

Taking the dead factorio window out of fullscreen using spaces makes it disappear.

This appears to be reproducible in fullscreen, I just saw it again when I added new mods.

(And the forums don't wait for image uploads before posting!)
