When updating the game at start the download part has a progress bar but when it reaches 100% the game just freezes. The background animations stop and the progress back is just stuck at 100% downloading.

The dialog should update from "downloading" to "updating" or "applying updates" and show the progress as it applies patches. Keeping the background animations running might be nice too.

Note: I've updated from 2.0.25 to 2.0.68 so it took noticeably long.

Thanks for the report however given the state of Factorio and the amount of updates that will likely happen before they stop for the foreseeable future, I don’t consider this worth changing.
