A set of blueprints for solving sorts, especially quality sorts where issues due to random walks and the gamblers fallacy can cause an item to overload.

Made to generalize this structure. The make it a requester chest so that even if it is belt operated, there's a limit on inventory size so a bunch of random uncommon items can't choke an upcycle.

Naturally, buildings with logistic chests are provided so you can place and configure a prototype.

Tanks make an appearance because they are fantastic, logistic enabled chests.

Makes builds like this easier to set up an get into a blue print format that can be reconfigured. A sort like this is pretty fault tolerant.

You can build the equivalent with a pure item sort. It's pretty funny, don't do it. Inserters transfering items to short containers will jam on short runs or force you to decorate belt ends with chests, which doesn't always yield a compact layout. While that's something you are forced to live with on space platforms, for groundside operations it's better to just set a max cap on an ingredient on a chest and then recycle that. Or toss it into a void of some kind.
