production statistics - link production and consumption

TL;DR
Linked production and consumption statistics, for easier comparison
What?
Could we please have an option to link and compare the production statistics with the consumption statistics? More specific, I would like to suggest:
  • using the same scale in the production and consumption graph
  • If you hover over an item in one of both graphs, to also highlight the same item in the other graph, including a horizontal and vertical line in both graphs, and to also show the consumption (or production) of said item in the other graph
  • If you enable/disable a certain item on one side, the item on the other side is automatically enabled/disabled as well
  • (and in the case of a spaceship, or maybe also other surfaces with a single power network, I wouldn't mind to also see the power production and demand statistics in some overlay or as a 3rd graph. So you know if the production imbalance is maybe caused by low power)
And because a picture is worth a thousand words, instead of only this:
production statistics - current
production statistics - current

I would like to have the posibillity to make it look like this (apologies for my mediocre Photoshop skills and slightly mistimed statistics):
production statistics - proposition
production statistics - proposition

Why?
Right now, the scale of both graphs are different, and if you select the same item left and right, the maximized scale on both graphs is very misleading. If you e.g. want to check if the ammo production is holding up with the ammo consumption of your spaceship, it will be a lot easier to compare them.

For the records, this suggestion is a mix of two previous requests :
viewtopic.php?t=9388 - pair production and consumption of a same item with the same colour
viewtopic.php?t=52326 - normalize the axes between consumption and production
