tungsten projectiles and armor, weapons

It would be cool if, with the development of Vulcan technology, we could gain access to tungsten-based weapons and projectiles. Bonus: light bulbs with tungsten filaments could have an infinite lifespan (while the current regular ones would burn out), or tungsten walls. Or you could even make an orbital weapon—a tungsten rod!
