Recipes whose output quantity/probability scales with freshness

Currently, the freshness of ingredients is a binary can-you-craft-in-time-or-not thing, except for recipes that end in science (or spoilable consumables where lifetime still matters).
It would be interesting if certain recipes that ended in non-spoilable products incentivized freshness by giving more product the fresher the ingredients are. If there's no place for this in Space Age, it could be a useful tool for modders looking to integrate spoilage in places besides science.
