[2.0.72] Crash to desktop frequently

My save game crashes to desktop frequently. It is becoming more and more frequent as my base gets bigger.
The crashes happen around 5-15mins of playing, randomly as far as I can tell.
I do not think my base is unreasonably complex or big. Attached is the save game + crash logs. I will be attaching more logs on every crash in hopes to help you fix this issue.

Both crashes are during rendering a blueprint that contains transport belts. Do you remember if you were doing anything around that at the time(s) it has crashed?

Some more logs for the crash.
Upon some further testing, i was able to isolate the following reproducible steps:
1. Copy something big (i.e. copy a grid of iron smelters with more than 100 iron smelters or assemblers, with transport belts
2. Try to paste it somewhere you have vision, hold Ctrl+Shift to view the "angry ghost"
Crashes consistently.
Edit: just saw your comment, yes, the copy pasted factory contain numerous belts.

Could you make a video of it crashing for you? It seemingly works fine for me when I do what you've described.

Ok, it stopped crashing with those steps now when I'm trying to make a video.....
It crashed again when I'm writing this post and factorio is running in the background. New logs attached.
This time I copied pasted a factory, and set it down, the robots started building it. I tabbed out to write this reply while the robot builds, and it crashes.
The crash is really random... I will try to gather more information or try and get a reproducible step

I notice you have an i9-13980HX processor - do you have the latest BIOS installed to account for the raptor lake defect that kills CPUs?

Your CPU belongs to the Raptor Lake family, which has known issues that can lead to permanent hardware degradation under certain conditions. If you're experiencing frequent crashes, especially during gaming or high-load scenarios, your CPU may already be damaged. This is not an isolated case, it's a widely reported and acknowledged problem.
More technical details and analysis can be found here:

If your CPU is still under warranty, initiate an RMA process with Intel or your vendor. Report the issue as repeated instability and crashing during games or other intensive workloads. Do not delay, as continued use might worsen the condition.
If an RMA isn't possible, the next step is to update your motherboard BIOS to the latest version, as several vendors have released firmware patches intended to mitigate this issue. While this won't fix already-present damage, it may help reduce instability going forward.
Other than that, there is nothing else you can do, permanent hardware damage cannot be fixed by the game or other software.

I have not been able to reproduce any crash so far with this save and given the first 2 crashes are different from the last, along with being unable to reproduce the first crash I suspect that the issue is your CPU and that it has failed.
Unless you do find reliable reproduction steps that someone else is also able to trigger.

Ok, thanks for the insight. I was going to purchase a new laptop soon anyway, I will report back if I experience this on the new computer.
