We found the issue and working on a fix. It should not require a new release.
Should be fixed now.

The switch 2 upgrade is not free on the Japanese eshop, is that intended ? It only costs 100 yen though.

For legal reasons there is a minimum price we had to set. Sorry for the confusion.

The range is 40-60 FPS. We don't have any plans to bring it to PC for now.

After trying the mouse support in the game, I must say I'm a bit disappointed. It really feels tacked on -- the right analog stick should not be moving the selection reticle when the joy-con is in mouse mode. If anything, it should behave like a scroll wheel, or a fast way to get to the quickbar. Can't even map it in the input menu, so in all, half the joycon is lost in mouse mode!
It's really quite painful to use for more than just a few minutes. I realize the big lift here was to bring Space Age across, but mouse mode (besides the obvious lift for using the UI windows) doesn't actually help the game.

Why using 4k resolution the graphics are worse, disabling things like light occlusion, animated water, and shadow clouds? If I change the resolution of the switch 2 to 1080p, can I activate the missing graphical effects?

You should be able to set in the console's display settings.

Can we download some selected mods? Currently, no mods can be downloaded from Switch!

Nintendo does not allow mod support on their hardware.

I would prefer an option to keep the 4k with all the graphical effects with a cap of 30 fps, like nearly all the games do when you can decide between graphics or frames. But lowering the resolution to see all the graphical effects is weird to me.

Why can't the official developers select some high-quality mods and update them in the game for players to choose from? I’ve seen some games do that.

IMO the mouse-con controls are perfect for what this version is, as I think nobody expected this to be the most optimal way to play the game.
The biggest problem with Switch 1 was lack of fine movement. Even when the right stick was in the cursor mode it was just too swervy for my taste. Now I am mostly playing with the joycons held normally and use mouse mode for more precise actions. I also recommend experimenting with controls. Because it's so easy to bump the right stick in mouse mode I've changed the "Look" control to respond to ZL+Right Stick. Now it only happens if I want it to.
Thanks Twinsen, I really like this way to play, I can finally take my factory on the road.

I can confirm that changing the resolution of the Switch 2 to 1080p enables the missing graphical effects from 4k. I wish in a future update these effects would be possible in 4k.
